Obituary of Julia A. Krug

Julia A. Krug (Judy) passed on November 4^th, 2018.  Judy was born in New York, New York on October 26, 1936 and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School, class of 1954 in Elizabeth, NJ. Judy married her husband, Richard F. Krug, on June 7, 1958 and they remained together until he passed on August 26^th, 1992. They were long-time residents of Berlin, CT., where she devoted her time to raising their five children.  She was an active member of the Kensington Garden Club, St. Paul’s Catholic Church and Connecticut Hospice Society.  Judy was pre -deceased by her husband Richard F. Krug Sr. and her eldest son, Richard F. Krug Jr.  She moved to Old Saybrook, CT., in 1992 and resided there for 26 years.  She enjoyed the beach, playing bridge, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  She is survived by her son, James Krug (Ann), Nancy Krug (Chris), Jeffrey Krug (Rachel), Maria Bauder (Carl) and her five grandchildren including, Carl, Josh, Julia, Max and Kate.

Visitation will be held at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home 34 Main Street in Centerbrook from 5-7pm on Thursday, November 8^th.  A funeral mass will be held Friday November 9^th, at 11:00 AM at St. Johns Church, 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, Mo. 64187 or donate directly at donate@pkdcure.org.
