Obituary of William Thomas Schreier

Bill Schreier, 52, passed away on October 4, 2019. Bill was born on May 29, 1967 in Southington, Connecticut the son of Bela and Joyce (Lyon) Schreier. Bill was a graduate of Southington High School and obtained his Associates Degree from North Dakota State University. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was extremely proud of his membership in the Essex Sportsmans Club. Bill is survived by his wife of 28 years Janine (Staplins) Schreier and their two daughters Hope Schreier and Emme Starla Schreier as well as his brother, Christopher Scherier. Bill also leaves his sister-in-laws, Robin and Patricia Staplins, Mitzie Kalolo and her husband Jeff and his nieces Elizabeth Staplins, Kristina Kalolo and Amber Braun and her husband Joe. He was predeceased by his parents and his in-laws, Russell and Dorothy (Root) Staplins.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the Vicky G. Duffy Pavilion at Saybrook Point, 155 College Street in Old Saybrook.
