Obituary of Sheila Rose Arsenault

Sheila Rose Arsenault, age 72, of Essex, CT passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. Sheila was a selfless mother, sister, wife, teacher and grandmother and will be missed by many. Her passion for life and exceptional kindness attracted friends and admirers wherever she went. Sheila loved travelling the world with her husband Bill, caring for her flower gardens, curating an extensive library for her grand-daughters, and wining, dining and laughing with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen McCormick and Agnes Martin, three legendary brothers, Andrew, Stephen and Jim, and her first husband, Jim Arsenault. She leaves behind her husband Bill Stanlonis, daughter and son Michelle and James Arsenault, granddaughters Sophia and Annabelle Mangan, and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation for Sheila will be on Wednesday, May 6th from 5:00 to 7:00PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. in Centerbrook, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 7th at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 14 Prospect Street in Essex. Interment will be held at 2:30PM at the St. John's Cemetery, Parker Road in Lancaster, MA.
