I first met Frank during the '80's, when he was working with Clark Corp on an industrial project for my company. I loved talking with him, or rather, listening to him, as he taught me about trompe l'oiel painting and the application of gold leaf. He even brought me a little box of gold leaf with which to practice. In addition to these things, he taught me by example about generosity of spirit, enthusiasm for work and calm. My acquaintance with him informed my character as I grew older, and I hope to be a fraction as good.
My heart goes out to his loved ones, for they have lost a great man indeed.
