I was very sorry to learn of Amy's passing. I had the good fortune to meet her when I worked at Milton Bradley in the 1990s. We shared a some similar likes - our Honda Preludes and finding Rogers Lake as a common spot. She was a funny and awesome to work with. My heart hurts for you and your family; I will hold you all in my thoughts and prayers. Robin

I want to express my deepest sorrow and sympathy to Jimmy and Amy's family. It is important for you to know just how special Amy was and how much she meant to me.
I've known Amy since our Newington High School days, but it wasn't until our days at UConn when we became true friends - a friendship that I'll treasure.
I will always remember and love Amy for her dry sense of humor, for her no-nonsense style, for her love of the outdoors, and for her independence. I will cherish many memories...from our early days when we visited the New York Metropolitan as young graphic designers to the days when we bragged about our beloved Honda Preludes.
Over the years, with Jimmy and Bryce by our sides, our friendship deepen, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Whether the four of us were watching the UConn men's basketball games at our favorite sports bar, attempting to white-water raft a few years back, enjoying Oktoberfest in New Britain, or cruising down the Connecticut River with a picnic dinner and wine, Amy was always up for an adventure...and we were always thrilled to be part of the fun.
Amy was authentic, honest, and beautiful. She was always a true friend through thick and thin, and I am grateful that she was part of my life for over 30 years.
Amy was loved by many for many reasons, and she will be sorely missed. Amy will always be close to my broken heart.

In the mid 80's, I worked for a brief time
with Amy, making maps at Northeast Utilities. I remember her as being very
upbeat and personable, with a lovely smile.
My sister, also, passed away as a result of
ovarian cancer, at the age of 56. Two
beautiful people, gone far too soon. My
deepest sympathy to her husband, James,
and to her family.

Dear Jim and all of Amy's family members, My heart is heavy this morning as I read about the passing of my friend, Amy. She and I met years ago over the counter at a print shop where I worked. She was smart, fun, kind, generous, thoughtful....We tried to get together numerous times over the years and I always enjoyed our visits. I always looked for her to pass by my brother's house during the Manchester Road Race. I am so very saddened. And at the same time grateful I was able to know her in my life. Please accept my sincere sympathy - I will never forget Amy. - Mary Liebig

I am heartbroken, as many others are, I am certain, to hear of Amy's passing. I met her a few years ago at an Adobe creative group meeting. I only occasionally saw her, yet the last time I did, we hung out together after an event at The Mark Twain museum. I have, unfortunately, great regret in not getting to know her more as a friend. She always impressed me, when we talked, with her kind and gentle demeanor. Someone I would have wanted to know more. I see from her obituary and photo that we had more than graphic design as our passion: the outdoors, bicycling, and birding. This is a lesson in my life: to not hesitate to be a friend. My deepest condolences to her husband and family.
