Obituary of Louva Harrington
DeeDee Harrington passed away peacefully on October 19th 2016. She was the widow of Earle Harrington. She was born in Westbrook Connecticut, but lived most of her life in Essex with her paternal grandparents B. Adolph and Amanda Peterson. She spent many years doing catering work in Fenwick and Essex. In her leisure time, she did volunteer work with special needs children which gave her great satisfaction. She is survived by a son Paul Harrington and Linda Clark of Ivoryton, a daughter Lynne Wheeler and Heath Wheeler of Austin Texas. Also, three grandchildren – Alyssa Harrington of Old Lyme, Ryan Wheeler and Jaime Wheeler Oliver and her husband Tom Oliver of Austin. Two sisters Pat Ingham and her husband Bob, Theodore Libby, two brothers Barry Peterson and his wife Judy and Ronald Peterson and his wife Denise. Also, special neighbors Joan and Dennis Welch and their two sons. In addition, Gloria Bombaci who was like another sister to her. At her request, DeeDee will have a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.
