P. Samuel Fulginiti
Consultant/Funeral Director

Sam was born and raised in Central Massachusetts; he formally began his career in funeral service in 1979. Prior to 1979, as a student in High School, Sam proudly worked at the local Funeral Home mostly keeping the parking lot clear of snow in the winters and the lawn mowed in summers.  It was then that Sam developed his desire to become a Funeral Director.  Sam attended Suffolk University in Boston, then graduated from New England Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences in Boston and received his funeral directors license in 1981. He went on to work and manage funeral homes in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York City, before purchasing Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home along with his wife Lori in 2005.

Sam is a parishioner of St. John's Church in Old Saybrook as well as a member of the NFDA, National Funeral Directors Association, and the CFDA, Connecticut Funeral Directors Association.  He gladly serves as the President of the Old Saybrook Rotary, and is an active member of the Clinton Country Club. He is very humbled to be the steward and fourth independent family owner of the funeral home since 1894 and honored to serve the residents of the river and shoreline regions. Sam and his wife Lori live in Old Saybrook with their daughter, and 2 Bernese Mountain dogs.

Lori Fulginiti
Consultant

In November 2005, Lori along with her husband Sam purchased the Robinson Wright & Weymer Funeral  Home. Prior to relocating to Old Saybrook, CT, for the opportunity to work in partnership with her  husband in a family owned business, Lori lived with her husband and daughter in Westchester County  NY. Instead of following a career path based on her degree in Social Welfare, Lori spent most of her  profession in the Financial Services industry. She split her positions between Consumer Banking and  Human Resources. She left the Financial Services industry as Regional Vice President for a new career in  the Alcohol beverage industry as Global Director of Organizational Development. Lori's years of  experience  in banking, strategic planning, service, and human resources armed her with the skills  necessary for her role today as Director of Administrations.

When not at work, Lori finds enjoyment in getting involved in the community, spending time with her family, and working out at the gym. Recently she has served as a Corporate Board Member of Life-Skills, Inc., a non-profit Corporation providing service to individuals with developmental, physical, and emotional disabilities throughout Massachusetts and parts of Connecticut.
