I will miss you my friend. You were a woman of grace, full of love, caring and you entertained us with a sparkling personality. Every year I looked forward to our Christmas telephone call to catch up on family and friends. A star shines brighter tonight.
To Susan and Lynn, you are in my thoughts, prayers and I send many hugs your way. Your mother adored you both.

My deepest sympathy to all of Cathy’s family!!! Her love of her girls and grandchildren was always a great conversation when she would come to get her hair done through the many years!!! She touched my heart in so many ways ! I will miss her! I will not be joining you as you celebrate her life but know that I will be there in spirit! Hugs Lyn and Susan

To the Abate and Decker families,
Ellen and I share in both your grief at Cathy's passing and in the celebration of her life. As part of her Aruba friends we looked forward to meeting up with Cathy and the rest of the Abate - Decker clan each year. It helped to make our vacation special. Cathy, Joe , Robert, Canio and their respective spouses treated us like one of the family and what a wonderful family it is. It was a highlight of our trip, catching up on the past years events, hugging each other, and of course asking the same question over and over, Where did you eat dinner last night and where are you going to eat dinner tonight? It was Cathy who
turned Ellen on to Prosecco sparkling wine. and every time we have a glass of Prosecco we will think of Cathy, a warm. wonderful, sparkling friend. We will miss her.

There are people in this world who add a special light, wherever they are, whoever they are with. There is no better way to describe Cathy. It was an honor and a privilege to be her friend. May her memory be for a blessing.

I was so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing last Friday. She and I worked together for several years at the Marlborough Elementary School. She always had a positive attitude and sunny disposition and I feel privileged to have known her. I wish all her family the very best in coping with her loss.

Susan and Lynn and family,
Frank and I met your Mom and Dad in Aruba many years ago. Your Mom was the beach greeter....she was so friendly and chatted with all the CT beach goers at the Costa Linda. And, of course your Dad was the quiet half, sitting on the beach chair, reading the paper. We enjoyed talking with them every day that week. Frank even worked for your Dad for a while as a consultant a few years later. And, who knew that your parents and the Chervenaks were friends....................Bryan married our daughter Kerri. We never got over what a small world it was. We send you our sympathy and know that your parents are together again on their own private beach.

To all of Cathy's loving family: I am heartbroken and a little lost without one of my best friends to chat with every week. Being friends since the 6th grade, there isn't much Cathy and I have not shared together. I loved seeing her on each of her visits to Jersey and looked forward to laughing about some of the fun times we experienced. I will miss her dearly, but know we will meet up with each other again in God's time. May God dry your tears and heal your hearts. Love and peace to each of you.
