Obituary of Eliot Peter Anderson

Eliot Peter Anderson, age 36, passed away Sunday November 18, 2018 at his home in Ivoryton, CT. Eliot was born September 17, 1982 to George Peter and Marilyn Golon Anderson. Eliot graduated from Porter and Chester Institute where he studied as an electrician. Eliot worked at Henkles and McCoy as a foreman representing his Union Local 146. Eliot had the most admirable work ethic, whether on the job site or in the yard at home. He was never sedentary. Eliot is remembered by most for his infectious smile, contagious laugh and his love and respect for every person he met. Eliot often gave people nicknames; it was his way of making sure you knew you were important to him. Eliot had such a big heart. He loved his family especially all of his nieces and nephews. There was nothing more important to him than making others happy and making sure his family was always together. Eliot had many passions, snowboarding in Vermont, woodworking in the garage, landscaping at home and anything that would keep him moving and busy. Eliot is survived by his grandfather Charles D. Anderson, his two older brothers Mathew P. Smith, Erik P. Anderson, his sister Megan A. Dean and his many beloved nieces and nephews, Grace, Aviendha, Erik Jr., Laurel, Briella, Sky, Austin and Georgia. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2018 5pm-7pm at Robinson, Wright and Weymer Funeral Home in Essex, CT. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 29th 10am at the Deep River Congregational Church with a celebration of life to follow at the Scandinavian Society in Deep River CT.
