Sorry to hear this. I learned so much from Bill during his years checking our work at the tax office. And I'll miss our annual updates at the Commemoration of the Burning of the Ships in Essex. My condolences to his family and friends.
Our sympathies and warm wishes for Elaine and family during this time of loss. We pray that the Lord will give you all the peace and fondest of memories for your loved one. From your Partridge Hill neighbors
I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was highly respected by his peers at Connecticut Mutual, both professionally & as a person. Sincere condolences to the Burke family. Jack
With deepest sympathy to the Burke clan. Bill was a good friend to all, a true gentleman and one of the best and smartest actuaries I ever worked with. His easy going manner was infectious. Missing in the obit was that he did some spy work , I think in California during his service time. May the love of family and friends give you all comfort during this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. May the many good memories you haveof Willliam bring you comfort. The God of all comfort sees the tears brought on by the death of our loved ones Psalms 56:8. He yearns to bring back those sleeping in death Job 14:14,15 to a time when sickness, suffering and death will be no more. Revelation 21:4.
Please accept my condolences for the passing of William. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)
