Obituary of Colin K. Linscott

Colin K. Linscott, 70, of Old Saybrook, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Colin was born on April 9, 1948 in Telluride, Colorado. A U.S. Veteran, he received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy. A mechanic by trade, he was also a member of the Teamsters Union. Colin was predeceased by his parents and first wife Susan. He leaves behind his loving wife Judith; brother Dan; sister Kathy; four children; two stepsons Michael and Jeffrey Forster; and many grandchildren, including his beloved, Hannah Forster. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 11 am at St. John’s Church, 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook. Burial with the rendering of Full Military Honors will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery on Route 145 in Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Old Saybrook Ambulance Association or St. John’s Church in Old Saybrook.
