I was saddened to hear of Dock’s passing. What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. He was always extremely generous to me. He offered me advice and gave me history lessons. He often bought me beer and coffee, what greater gift can anyone give. I feel lucky that I got to know him. The Town of Deep River has lost one of its greatest citizens.

Rick and family
I am so sorry to know that you have lost your dad Rick Sr. and I along with so many will miss him.
Although its been quite awhile since I just bumped into your dad, and enjoyed a wonderful humorous, and usually, also lovely "prickly" chat, I think often of him when I am at the Landing Park, especially when I sit in the gazebo. Rick and I built the benches on the Gazebo, and among other things, his skills helped make this park something our town has embraced so much. But, what I remember most, was that I sure simply enjoyed that time with him.
Your friend, John Kennedy

Please accept my condolences for the passing of Richard. There is hope though, as the Almighty has arranged for the resurrection in the future. He promises, "... There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15)
I hope you find these few words comforting and provide motivation to prepare for the new world of God's making. (John 17:3)
