Don, I m so sorry to hear of Cally's passing, I used to run into her in the grocery store once in a while but not lately and often thought of her,After just moving to Old Saybrook she hired me as a staff nurse and that was for 11 years! A great supervisor, , always with a smile. We still make her famous Apple Cake,that recipe is now in Boston with my son who called it a two pan! Now his kids make it!
A nicer, person ,funny, fair to her staff and a pleasure to work with,she is a legacy and will be missed by many, glad I knew and worked for her, God Bless her
