Obituary of Milton E. LaPlace Sr.
Milton E. LaPlace Sr., 86 of Old Saybrook and longtime resident of Clinton, entered into eternity on Sunday, May 12th 2019. He was born to the late Cecil and Annie (Powers) LaPlace on October 29th, 1933. Milton graduated from Old Saybrook High School, before embarking on his life-journey of service, patriotism and fatherhood. Milton served our country in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a team member of the Essex Boat Works, in Essex, for over 20 years. Milton would eventually retire from Centerbrook Architects. He will be missed by his family at the First Baptist Church in Essex, but most especially by his family and friends. Milton is survived by his sons; Milton E. LaPlace Jr. and his wife Lynsey of Clinton, and Raymond LaPalce of Clinton, as well as his daughters; Tina and her husband Sean Spencer of Old Saybrook, and Diana Myers and her husband David of Shelbyville, MI. Milton will be missed greatly by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his sisters; Eunice Tolx of Maine, and Colleen Trainer of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends made throughout the years. Services for Milton will be held Saturday, May 25th at 10AM at the First Baptist Church of Essex, 10 Prospect Street in Essex.
