Obituary of Mark Urban

Mark Urban, age 45, of Deep River passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2014. He was born in Middletown on July 23, 1969 the son of the late Walter and Ruth (Lund) Urban. Mark graduated from Valley Regional High School in Deep River and went on to become an EMT. He started his own business. BSM Construction. He loved all things big and small. Mark touched the hearts of everyone he met. He loved animals, fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and tinkering with old cars. He is survived by his children, Benjamin Urban of Deep River and Carly Urban of Chester, his siblings, Michael Urban of Anchorage, AK, his half brother, Walter Urban, of Hilo, HI, his step-sister, Lisa Mee of Hazard, KY, his former wife, Shelly Urban, of Chester, and his devoted partner for over a decade, Jacqueline Dobruck, of Deep River. Mark also leaves countless other friends and family who were blessed to have known him. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 9:00AM at the First Congregational of Deep River, 1 Church Street in Deep River. Burial will follow in Saint Agnes Cemetery in Branford.
