I was so very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. Our small community will surely not be the same without him. Jim was our voting machine mechanic here in Chester for a number of years and did a fantastic job. I always knew we didn't have to worry about something failing with them. Jim had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone and always with a smile and a joke.
Rest in peace, Jim.

To the Beardsley Family,
American Legion Post 61 IBELL-JACOBSON-SMITH extends our condolences to the children, grandchildren & little grand daughter of our dear friend and comrade. His service to our community , state, and nation is very much appreciated. He was involved in helping so many people and organizations. We enjoyed seeing him around town and knowing that he was caring for all of us. He was a faithful member of the American Legion and accepted the roles as Post 61 Commander and District 7 Commander for several terms. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Eileen B. Richard
Commander , Post 61 / former District 7 Commander
