I remember seeing your mom for the first time. I was 4 and so happy to see a girl my age move into the neighborhood. I watched her through the fence in my backyard. We became fast friends and many a dress was ripped on that fence. We skated on the cesspool, helped your grandpa deliver mail and just had fun.
She was my first friend and I loved her so and still do.

Coping with the death of a loved one is never easy. When Lazarus died, Jesus “groaned in the spirit and became troubled,” and shortly afterward he “gave way to tears.” (John 11:33, 35) So, when someone we love dies, it does not show weakness to cry. God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Revelation 21:4). May the God of love comfort the Alexander family and friends.

RIta is sorely missed. She was a pleasure to work with for many years but also remembered as a good friend. She was one of the kindest most giving persons I have known. I think of her every time I see holiday butter cookies. I also have fond memories discussing UConn ladies basketball with Rita. Sincere condolences to all the family.
