I didn’t know John well, but my first impression was that he was a genuinely good person. I met him briefly through work at Seaworthy Systems when he was consulting on a project I was involved in. He was friendly, helpful and a solid engineer. We again crossed paths when he faithfully attended his granddaughter’s basketball games. He would carry his wife’s bleacher seat in and set it up for her each time. What a true gentleman he was.

Mr. Frese will be dearly missed. He had a gentle caring way about him that made us all feel like we were part of the family. I will always remember and appreciate the time he took to give me encouragement and advice.
