I offer my condolences to Jo's family; She and I attended many daily Masses together from 1985 to 2015... about 10,950 of them when counting. We talked often and said the rosary together. She sat in front of me so I noticed her gestures when saying it. She always gave a kind of nod at the end as if to say it a finality and an offering to God with assurance of His response. I liked to walk to church in the mornings - it was the only exercise I got and she always offered me a ride home. She was kind of an angel of transportation. I recall one winter when we had a deep snowfall - about 3 feet and no one was on the road. I met her by the old White Way Laundry trudging through the snow going to church on foot! She and I were the only ones at Mass. I shoveled the sidewalk so Fa. Ahern so he could get to Mass and afterward's shoveled some more in front of the church. Penny was strongly devoted! I also remember that she attended all of the Christmas Bazaars in the school auditorium with Florence and Steve Lebowich and enjoyed putting tickets in all the 100 raffle baskets. I'm sure she went directly into Heaven. I sure will miss her - my sister in Christ! May God bless all of her family and friends.

Michael and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Peony was an good friend to my mom and family for many years, through high school, neighbor and later in life as an angel who visited weekly while she was ill. My thoughts are with you as you say your final good bye to an amazing mom. I am greatful she is at peace. Until we meet again my dear friend.

O'Shea Family,
We are very sorry to hear of your loss and our too. Aunt Peanie as I liked to call her was always there whenever we were in CT . Her love and acceptance was joyful in our presence. She will be missed dearly. I look at picture of her and my mom as children and all can do is smile. They weren't not only cousin ,but best friends. She was like a 3rd daughter to my grandparents . I will always think the world of her!
LOVE, Tod
