Obituary of Ralph Maynard Neely

Ralph Maynard Neely, 89, peacefully entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born on July 29, 1930, the son of the late Lewis and Elma (Maynard) Neely. He was also predeceased by his brother and sister; Lewis Neely and Catherine Scott. Ralph owned and operated Neely Waste Removal in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Old Saybrook. He is survived by Joyce, his loving wife of 69 years; his children; Joyce Browning and her husband Carlton of Shelburne Falls, MA; Ralph Jr. and his wife Louise of Old Saybrook; Linda Mengel and her husband Guy of Bealton, VA; Kathy Johnstone and husband Jeff of Ashland, VA; Pam Rankin and her husband Jay of Old Saybrook; and his 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, with 2 great-grandchildren on the way, and his numerous nieces and nephews. Interment services will be privately held by the Neely Family in the Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook.
