Even though I knew it was near the end it was still very sad to hear of Larry’s passing. He was such a good neighbor. I remember him shouting a greeting from his spot on the porch alongside his faithful pal Bon Bon. Larry gave me good advice as the house renovations were happening and long after. He enjoyed watching the progress and also the entertainment value of us all doing the work. He is remembered fondly by Wayne, our builder, who asks about him and sends greetings when we meet. Larry showed such courage and strength in his battle against illness, his love and concern for Sue and his general good natured humor. I will remember him fondly as a gentleman and a gentle man.
