Obituary of Kathleen M. Harris

Kathleen M. Harris, 67, of Deep River, CT, passed away Friday,, December 20, 2019. She was born and raised in Old Lyme, CT as one of nine children. Kathy graduated from Old Lyme High School. She held many bar-tending jobs and later worked as a home health care for many. She fell in love with all of them. She loved animals, the beach, a good book, her white tic-tacs and a good joke. She was known for her no-nonsense personality and her beautiful smile. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and Raymond Harris, brother Dickie Harris, and sister Roxanne Rude. She is survived by her husband and best friend Michael (Snake) Wayne; Sisters, Carolyn Harris of Orlando, Florida, Vera Maloney of Greenwood, Delaware, Sharon Dinger of Vincent, Alabama, and Laurie Harris of Holiday, Florida, Brothers; Raymond Harris (Marcia) of Ivoryton, Connecticut, and Mark Harris of Ellendale, Delaware, as well as her dog Bubba, many nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street, Centerbrook, from 5PM until 7PM. In lieu of flowers, please hug your pet.
