Barbara I am so sorry you are without Dick now. You were such an incredable example to the younger generation of what a marriage relationship should be. I will always remember how accepting and encouraging Dick was with my kids as I brought them up to the choir. I have missed all of you since we moved south but now knowing he is not coming to church any more with you is very sad. Just know there are so many of us praying for you. You aren't alone. You have so many memories to treasure as you continue on your journey. Will is in Korea and sends his thoughts to you. He remembers Dick so graciously agreeing to be his Confirmation sponsor . I hope to be able to stop in and see you at the end of Feb if you would be up for a short visit, Love Joani Charlie Mike Will Michelle Christian and Jessica
Cookie,
My condolences for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. I was blessed to meet you and Dick years ago because of my acquaintance with your sister Gina. We were invited to your home for a visit which turned into a tour of an incredibly warm homestead created by two wonderfully creative people. Dick being the proud person he was, took me around the well manicured grounds and you showed me through the immaculate house that you both created together to call home. Your love for one another was extremely evident. The impression that Dick left upon me was of a man who was dedicated to a marriage to a woman who shared the same dedication. I wish you well enduring your journey through life without his presence. Dick will always be remembered in my heart as a very special man that will be sadly missed. May you continue on with your wonderful memories of him..... -Bob Russell-
