I worked with Ed White during my summers and winters breaks while I was in college. He was a great guy and was always in a good mood. Plus he was a hard worker, he would strap on his head ban and lifting belt and go to town unloading a full trailer. He was 43 years older then me and I would get tired faster them him. I have good memories working with him and he will be missed for sure. I used to see him every year at the Guilford Corvette shows. It won't be the same without him.
Harry white was my dad. He adopted me when I was little. Harry took me in and gave me a fresh start, he taught me well, I may have been stubborn, but I loved him. Dad we had some good times listening to the oldies in your truck, going to work at Filter sales and service, and having those special lunches. Krousers sandwiches or saldamarcos. I loved watching football with you on saturday and sunday. I miss you dad I still have so much to learn from you.
I worked with Ed for 17 years and for those 17 years Ed was there everyday, he never called out of work. He always gave you a loud "good morning" as you walked into work, even at 5am. He would usually start talking about what he wanted to eat for lunch around 930 am by the end of lunch he could of easily eaten 2 subs and a bag of chips. He was a great guy and was there for you if you needed him. He will be greatly missed.
