I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. I had the privilege of crewing with Glenn many years ago in many races. He taught me much about both the art of sailing and celebration! May the four winds blow you safely home Glenn. My deepest sympathies to Glenn's family.

It is with profound sadness that we learn of the passing of Glenn. We were fortunate to meet Glenn during a visit some years ago and shared a wonderful day with him,Janice and Max. He was a fun person to be with and we think back to that meeting with fond memories. Glenn was a fine man, proud father and caring son. Janice, our thoughts are with you. Max, your cousins in Australia send their love, and to dear Elizabeth, we send our love. From Garry & Wilma Williams and family, Melbourne, Australia

Dear Janice, Elizabeth and Max, It is with great sadness to hear about Glenn, i never got the chance to meet him but my Dad Ray and brother Ben had that pleasure, my Dad used to speak of fun times he shared in America and of course cousin Glenn's name would be within the memory. All our love thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time, and even for the future.
Love

I did not know Glenn well, but I remember his wonderful trip in his boat. on the Connecticut River. Several artist friends of his mother Elizabeth had such fun and Glenn was such a nice man. I remember that I had just turned 80 years old. His mother, Elizabeth was so proud of him and she will miss him so much! He was a fine man. Ann Snow

I remember meeting Glenn when I was 12 years old at Branford Junior High School which served the 7th and 8th graders in town. Glenn and I were schoolyard friends then, and not too far off my family moved away and I did not see him again, until I opened up my shop (Custom Audio-Video Systems) right above Sarah's Cupboard in Branford in 1992. Glenn and I reconnected and he would stop by often and visit. He was a great friend. Glenn and I were in the business of selling for new homes.... Glenn sold Kitchen appliances and I Electronic Systems. We would talk and laugh often up in my office on the second floor.. I reconnected in another way when I learned he lived right behind a close friend in Pawson Park and although we hadn't seen each other lately.... I remained his friend and he mine. Sorry to have to say goodbye my friend but we will meet again someday. Your Friend. Bob Lieto
