Obituary of Edith J. Pelletier
Edith J. Pelletier, 89 of Centerbrook passed away on May 25, 2020. She was the wife of the late William (Bill) Pelletier. Edith will be remembered for her spunk, wit, laughter, beautiful smile, baby blue eyes, flirtatious manners, and always willing to except anyone into her life. She was born January 24, 1931 to the late Searles and Martha (Swaney) Dean Sr. of Old Lyme. She was predeceased by her brothers Searles Dean Jr., Bertram Dean and Charles Dean, and her children, Donald F Davis Sr., and Darlene A Bach. She was a loving sister to; Marshall Dean, Vernon, CT, Allan (Evelyn) Dean, Durham, CT, Robert (Frannie) Dean Hadlyme, CT and Martha E Wilde, of Camdenton, MI. A caring and loving mother of her daughter, Jeannette (Fred) Strempel of Deep River, CT., sons, Charles S. Davis of Bethel, AK and Kevin (Rose) Davis of Bokelia, FL., Daughter-in-law of Deborah Lessiner Anderson, W. Warwick, RI and son-in-law John P Bach of Old Saybrook,CT. She leaves her Godchildren, Barbara Dean Crossier and Jason Hubbard. She was the Proud Grandmother to Chris (Jill) Strempel of Chester, CT. Todd (Adrianna) Strempel of Bee Cave, TX, Donald F Davis Jr. of Harmony, RI., Amanda (Robert) Camargo of W. Warwick, RI. John P Bach III of Scranton, PA., William Bach of Newburgh NY., and Stephanie Platts of Bokelia,FL. She was so in awe of her great grandchildren they brought her joy and love, Madison and Wesley Bach, Christopher and Hailey Strempel, Abbygail Camargo, Linda and Carlos Platts. A special thanks to all the wonderful staff and residents of Essex Court, you were truly her other family. Thanks to her special Friends, Terri, Toby, Jeannie, especially to Tammy and Mary for keeping everyone in line. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the Centerbrook Cemetery , Westbrook Road in Centerbrook on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 11:00AM. Masks must be worn and social distancing must be observed.
