My condolences
May the memories that mean the most to you live close to your heart along with" God promise to wipe away the tears from your eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away."

My daughter, Amy, was a student of Mrs. Nord's in 1973, and my daughter, Betsy, was in Mrs. Nord's kindergarten class in 1976. Looking back on their education, I can definitely state that Mrs. Nord was probably the best teacher either one ever had. Amy was a reader when she entered kindergarten, and Mrs. Nord created a special group for her and three other students who were already readers. Betsy was not reading when she entered kindergarten, but was a proficient reader after spending a year with Mrs. Nord. Not only was she a phenomenal teacher, who's style I tried to emulate when I became a teacher in 1986, but she was one of the most gracious and kind women I ever met. All of her family and all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her know are indeed fortunate.

Sorry for your loss coming so soon after Earl passed away.
Earl was a wonderful tennis partner a while back and I enjoyed Dot's company at the beach many times. In fact I owe my membership at the MCC to their kind support.
All my sincere condolences to the family. They will both be in my heart for years to come.

Jo and I were saddened to hear of the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. Erl was a dear friend of mine and I knew Dottie through this friendship. Dottie was a beautiful person and projected warmth and kindness to all. Erl and Dottie were always a team in life and somehow it seems they should once again be joined.
With our sincere sympathy
Bill and Johanna Schneider

Mrs. Nordstrom was my Kindergarten teacher in 1975. She made my first school experience enjoyable, fun, and very pleasant. I still remember some of the craft projects she did with us. I still do them today with my daycare children. Thank you God the wonderful learning experience.
