The Board and Members of the Essex Garden Club were saddened to learn of Priscilla's passing. She contributed so much to EGC as well as other endeavors over the years. Priscilla was a valued Lifetime Member. She will be missed.
We’d like to share a quick profile of some of Priscilla's contributions to the Club over her 44 years as a member. She was an Officer for two years as Corresponding Secretary ('87 & '88). She was a Board member for five years holding dual positions of Historian & Publicity ('83), and Properties ('85 & '86), and the Herb Garden ('78 & '79). And looking at our history, it appears Priscilla was not shy when May Market rolled around either. In 1977 she Chaired Gourmet. In 1979 it was Garlic Salt. In 1980 she handled Staging. The geraniums were apparently in good hands during 1983, 1984, 1987, 1989 and 1990 as Priscilla kept them organized. And Priscilla was back as a May Market Chair in 1995 & 1996 keeping an eye over the Annuals.
Thank you Priscilla for helping keep the Club strong.
