My deepest sympathy to Jason's family. He was just a wonderful person. I first met Jason at Saybrook Point Inn when he would work large meetings. I saw him often when he managed the Old Saybrook Branch of Liberty Bank ( the best manager ever).
We had many telephone conversations after he left the branch and he was always a Gentleman. I will really miss knowing he is no longer there to lend an ear. May the family take comfort that he touched so many lives in a positive way. I know many of the wonderful employees he has hired at Liberty Bank and they all say the same thing.

I'm so saddened to learn of Jason's passing, the world was a kinder, better place with him in it. My condolences to all those who loved him. I recall my last conversation with him after a meeting, how delighted he was to be working on an old Volkswagon with Hayden. Hayden...my guy knows all things Volkswagon. If you get stuck, please don't hesitate to reach out afenton@liberty-bank.com. God bless and may happy memories bring comfort.

I worked with Jason at Saybrook Point Inn in the late 1990s as banquet waiters and bar tenders. I have such good memories of him. I was always happy when we were both on the schedule. We also took a bartending class together. He was just an easy guy to get along with and talk to. I remember some good political conversations, but nothing too intense or divisive. Those were some loooong shifts- sometimes two weddings in a day - and late nights cleaning up, and working w someone like Jason made it enjoyable and memorable. - Brian Lockhart

I was Jason’s roommate and friend in college. He always had an instinctual understanding of how to be a good friend, from his kindness and understanding to his curiosity and easy laugh. Anyone who met him was fortunate, and usually a better person, for having done so.

When I think of my dear friend Jason I smile. I can hear his "giggle" and laugh. I can see him smile. He was just a kind, caring, humble and gentle soul. He was truly one of a kind. It has been wonderful to be able to share such happy memories with him. I can't believe 30 years has come and gone since Wheaton and it wasn't enough. My love to Suzie, Alivia, Hayden and their families.

I am so sorry. I knew Jason as a small boy. He was kind and thoughtful and gentle and non competitive. That was the man he grew into. His "yikes" rings in my ears now across the abyss of time. May he rest in peace.

One of my fondest memories of Jason is when the bank was going through a system wide application change. Our training was in Middletown and the bank provided lunch. He was vegetarian and I was attempting a transition to plant based. He happened to notice what I put on my plate and we had a great conversation about how to eat in a healthy way. It made me feel less awkward about having only veggies on my plate. That was his way. He made you feel like you were accepted no matter the environment. My prayer is that his wife and children are comforted by the love he has for for them, (he was always talking about them). A love that transcends natural time and space.

Jason a vary polite young man when he started work for liberty bank, as the buildings operation manager I enjoyed the times I visited the branch we would laugh and talk about the things he did while growing up, I told him he had a good head on his shoulder he loved to talk about his wife and children, when he had a mechanical question he would ask for advise, I will always remember the funny moments we had, so young my deepest condolences to the family.

Jason was my friend. He challenged everyone he met to be a better person. He was kind, driven, compassionate, funny and dedicated. He loved his family as they were the center of his universe. He was full of history, stories and endless trivia. He could tell a mean dad joke and was so humble about the amazing achievements of his children. Suzanne was the love of his life and he reminded everyone he could. Jason was so prod of Suzanne and her advancement at work. Jason loved to talk about cooking and working on cars with Hayden. He was so proud of Alivia's double major. I do not know how any of us will ever be the same without Jason but I do know that the 6.5 years I got to spend with him as a peer and friend made me a better human. Thank you for all of the great memories Jason, I would like to think you will never be that far away.

Remembering my Dear Friend. Wheaton Saturdays talking politics, art, and finances turned into 30 years of friendship and memories I cherish. I will remember his joy in his family and his love of his pets. I am grateful for all the quiet words of wisdom and the time we all had - it has been too short. Kurt and I send our love to his family. - Donna
