I spent so many wonderful years with Celeste. I just found out Celeste passed over this very day. I ran into he at the Chowder Pot some eight years ago. She broke the news regarding her health. I remember her saying "I'm grateful for the life I have." That statement is all you need to know about Celeste. My heart is broken.

I met Celeste several years ago at Leon's of Westbrook, and we had several lively, friendly chats! Her obituary did her justice, as I've never met a more friendly, welcoming and sweet lady such as her. Such an optimistic bubbly gal. While I don't know the family, I am acquainted with Peter. My heart goes out to you all.

I have so many wonderful memories of Celeste working side-by-side with her for so many years, but one of my best memories is when I first started at the salon , I really didn’t know anybody that well and Celeste said she wanted to have a baby shower for me at her house. It was so beautiful and special, I was the new girl, but she made me feel so at home and so comfortable, from then on I knew she was such a wonderful warm soul!

I am so so sorry of hearing this awful news.... I've know Celeste since she was 17 years old, she was always! kind considerate and companionate loving person... I know! she will be missed by myself and so many others.. I am still in shock as she was just way to young for this.. We had so many incredibly fun times as kids and I will cherish those memories for ever.... RIP My friend till we meet again... Love you always your old friend Gary......
