Born on December 2, 1937, to Stanley and Mary (Kurek) Shumbo, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul T. Pulcini. Terry grew up in Moodus, graduating from Nathan Hale High School, and later lived her married life in Deep River. She leaves behind her daughter, Mary (Paul) Narducci, and her son Thomas Pulcini, both of Deep River, along with her four grandchildren who meant the world to her; Nikki and Nathan Narducci, and Ryan and Jake Pulcini. She was predeceased by her brothers; Roger, Edward, Stephen, Theodore, Stanley, Louis, Frank, John, Paul and Joseph, along with her sisters; Kathryn Koritkowski, Anne Minor, and Agnes Spiwak. Terry also leaves many nieces and nephews. Terry Retired from Whelen Engineering in 2000 and was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s in Chester. Terry loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. Terry loved to cook and bake and especially loved to make her famous Polish “Galumpkis” while listening to Polkas. Terry, when feeling lucky, loved to hit the Mohegan Sun slots, and grab lunch after; if there was any money left over. Terry was very caring; she had a “Heart of Gold” and would give anything she had to anyone. She loved watching the UCONN women’s basketball team and cheering for her Yankees. In the past two years, she was very grateful to have the Visiting Nurses of the Lower Valley care for her, along with her personal caretakers, with special thanks to Carol Arpin for her personal touch. A Graveside service will be held for Theresa on Saturday, April 10th at 11AM, in the Fountain Hill Cemetery, 57 High Street, Deep River.
