Obituary of James E. Husted

James Ezra Husted (Jim), 82, of Clinton, Connecticut passed away on June 1, 2021. He was born on October 16, 1938 in Madison, CT to William Benjamin Husted and Clara Jean Grove. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, William Benjamin Husted and Clara Jean Grove, and his wife of over 50 years, Charlotte (Sherman) Husted. He is also preceded in death by sisters: Nancy Folger, Francis Clark, June Palmer, and Jean Collins, and brother Willis Husted. He leaves behind three children: Tammy (Husted) Perzanoski and her husband Brian Perzanoski (Florida), Kimberly (Husted) Woodrum and her husband Edward Woodrum (Delaware), and James Ezra Husted Junior and his wife Heather (Eden) Husted (Connecticut). He also leaves behind brothers Benjamin Husted (Massachusetts) and Robert Husted (Connecticut). He was especially proud to be the grandfather of 6 grandchildren (Jessica, Rebecca, Mark, Emily, Alex, Nicholas) and 3 great grandchildren ( Hayden, Kensley, Mavrick), one of his greatest joys was making them laugh. Jim graduated from the Morgan School in Clinton, CT in 1957 and worked for the Connecticut Water Company for over 40 years. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and gregarious nature.
