Worked with Him summers in the early 60's at Shoreline Auto Body. He and his wife were the witnesses at our wedding. He was, as Dick Daly indicated, an absolutely superb craftsman, a magician with sheet metal and paint. One of the greatest friends I have ever had.....His snicker/ laugh was infectious, and he made great boilermakers. Ave Atque Vale My Friend.

So very sorry for your loss. He was my neighbor when we first bought our house next door. So welcoming. Loved watching them feed the chipmunks that would come right up and take it from their hands. God Bless.

Very sorry to hear of Pop traveling on. So happy I was able to know and love him.
Memory: The first time I met him. Waiting outside the 911 Dispatch after soccer practice at John Winthrop in 7th grade.
I would knock and wave on the glass to use the phone to call home for a ride after practice. And Sally, Mrs Stebbins then, would smile and open the sliding window.
I always enjoyed the conversations with you Sally and watching your professionalism dispatching calls. I learned a lot that helped me later on.
I don’t remember having answering machines back then, but we did only need 5 digits to dial a number. I dialed, and dialed, and dialed. It turned to dusk out. “I’m fine my ride will be here soon”
Sally makes a call on the phone on the other side of the room. 5 minutes later Pop arrives.
“Hop in kid. So your Katie Kilty’s brother huh?" And that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Pop, you will always be in my heart and your memory will always make me smile. Love to you all.
