I had the pleasure of being one of Tyler’s camp directors at Essex Park and Rec when he was little. Every day, he played a joke on everyone when he refused to the next activity until I got there, and he would jump up immediately with a giggle and come with me. I cherish those moments as an educator and I value what I learned from him about maintaining a healthy sense of humor. My love to his family during this difficult time.

I will cherish the memory of the time we spent together at Cape May. I so enjoyed it! Tyler loved the Doctor Phoenix banter that went on all week. Sweet moments at the beach and on the porch. Tyler was a part of just about every smile. He loved our food and desserts so much. A remarkable, determined young man that I will forever hold dear in my heart. I was Blessed to have been his bus driver for so many years and to watch him grow up to be an amazing human. The first time I met him I watched him tell a oh so funny ghost story at a school outing and all that listened had a smile while he excitedly told it. Our time driving to aces together mostly involved talking wrestling which I was also a fan. To the family you are what a family should be, loving and supportive. Every day at lunch Tyler would call his dad, at the exact same time. Even though John knew who it was, a smile would spread over his face when he looked at his phone. Tami would get a call next.
