To the Fortier Family, That was a most fitting eulogy depicting your mom. She was faithful to her promise and devoted her life to the Lord never wavering from that prayer and promise she made in that hospital room. Faithful in deed, always giving a witness and even at the end doing so with a smile. She had joy and love in her heart. Those are qualities we all need to put into practice in our very own lives. Joan will always be remembered in our hearts for the person that she was…dedicated to the LORD and never wavering from her promise. Love to All, Uncle Bill and Aunt Judie

Joan was a loving, sweet soul. We shared three grandchildren whom she adored. I always enjoyed reading the cards that she wrote to them, because she poured her heart into every word. In life she walked with Jesus. I'm sure HE is holding her hand in heaven. She will be missed by family and those that were lucky enough to be called her friend.
