Obituary of Judith F. Linscott

Judith F. Linscott, age 78, a longtime resident of Old Saybrook passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her home. Judith was the beloved wife of the late Colin K. Linscott who predeceased her on January 15, 2019. She was born on October 10, 1942 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (Crocini) Frana. She was the Head Teller at Liberty Bank in Old Saybrook prior to her retirement. She was a Past President of the Board of Directors of the Old Saybrook Ambulance Association. Judith was a communicant at Saint John’s Church in Old Saybrook. She leaves her sons, Michael S. Forster and Jeffrey M. Forster and her grandchildren, Hannah, Chelsey and Stephen Forster and Susan Berg and her two great-grandchildren Riley and Brady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 9:00AM at Saint John’s Church, 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook with her burial following in the Resurrection Cemetery, Route 145 in Westbrook. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Old Saybrook Ambulance Association, 316 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
