Obituary of Dolores Joan Slack

Dolores Joan Slack passed peacefully away in her sleep on December 24, 2021. She was born on February 10, 1943 to Daniel and Violet Furst. She grew up in Connecticut her whole life and married her true love, Carmen Slack in 1960 and together they raised 4 children. Even though a broken heart took her away from this world, her loving heart is how she will be remembered. Joanie is survived by her children; Ronald (Laura) Slack, Carmen II(Kippy) Slack, Kimmy (Gary) Bouchard, her beloved grandchildren; Robert Jr.(Tanya) Slack, Nicholas (Jennifer) Slack, Joseph (Nicole) Slack, Geoffrey (Jill) Slack, Philip (Katie) Slack, Loni & Tenay Bouchard, her great grandchildren; Robert III, Anna, Nate, Payton, Kensley, Nicholas Jr. ,Harrison, Joseph Jr., Cecilia, Liliy, Everly, Philip Jr., Luke and Nicolas, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She also leaves a sister Marjorie (Konrad) Fuellhart. Joanie was predeceased by her son, Robert, husband Carmen, brothers; Donald Marson, Richard Marson , Daniel Furst and sister Jacqueline Stocking. Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 31st at 11am at Centerbrook Cemetery. Donations may be made in Joan’s memory to the Chester Hose Co.P.O. Box 214, Chester, CT 06412.
