Obituary of Eva J. Tar

Eva J. Tar, 71 years, born in Hungary and a U.S. citizen, loving wife of Paul Tar Sr., and devoted mother of Eva O'Neill and her husband Kevin, and Paul Tar Jr., and his wife Mary Lou, grandmother of Evan Tar, aunt of Bill Hegedüs passed away March 3rd, 2015 at Middlesex Hospital. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Bridgeport, attended the University of Bridgeport, and earned an Associates Degree in Education from Middlesex Community College. She was a beloved para educator at Chester Elementary School from 1980 through 2005. She had a lifelong love of flowers; she was an ardent gardener and painter. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Robinson, Wright, & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 48 Middlesex Avenue in Chester on Monday, March 9th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery.
