Ethel, Gary, Doug, Ron, and families, John was a special guy to the family and community. We were so glad that we spent time in Essex and get to know you guys. My kids still talk about that trip and all the fun we had in Newport with Ethel and the memories of the 4th of July! Wow!! He will be missed by all of us. He made a difference in our lives, your lives, and the community in which he lived. He was always a Nebraska farm kid at heart. Until we meet again on the other side. One of his many cousins, Bob Krutz and family.

John was always a asset to our town! Always ready to help someone also ! Rest In Peace John ! Condolences to Ethel, Gary,Ron,and Doug. Blessings to all the family.

My condolences to John's family and friends. He was my junior advisor in the Essex Fire Dept in 1968. He attended my uncles funeral when he left us. He also attended my wedding in 1976. So yes John was a good friend and a mentor to me. RIP.
