Obituary of Harry R. Molyneux, III

Harry R. Molyneux, III “Butch”, age 65 passed away in Norwich on February 19, 2022. He was the beloved husband for 40 years of Carol (Harley) Molyneux of New London. Butch was born in New London on January 19, 1957 the son of the late Harry R. and Elsie (Congdon) Molyneux and was raised on Beaver Brook Road in Lyme. He had lived in Norwich for the past four years and was a former resident of Groton. Prior to his retirement in 2019 he was an assembler at Rotor-Frank of America Inc. in Chester. Butch was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed splitting wood, playing corn hole, trout fishing and riding his motorcycle with family and friends. Besides his beloved wife Carol he leaves his son, Robert Molyneux of New London, his sisters, Susan Molyneux Whipple of Salem, and Lori Corey of Old Lyme, his brothers, Richard of Lyme, Michael of Hadlyme and Brian of Salem, his granddaughter, Brittany Molyneux of New London and several nieces and nephews. Butch was predeceased by his son Raymond who passed away on April 5, 2020 and his brother Kenneth. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 4:00PM to 5:30PM followed by a time of Remembrance in the funeral home chapel.
