Obituary of Alexander G. Mitchell

WESTBROOK- Alexander “Xander” G. Mitchell, 22, of Westbrook, Connecticut, departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Xander was born on May 31, 2000 in Middletown, CT to his loving parents Robert M. “Bob” and Jenifer Mitchell. Xander graduated from Westbrook High School in 2018 and was currently pursuing a degree in computer science through The University of Phoenix. Xander was an avid gamer with a wealth of knowledge in computer technology. He proudly built his home computer, component by component from the housing up. Xander enjoyed playing various online games with many of his friends, many locally but also those from around the country and all over the world. He had a newfound affinity for fitness and could be found either at his home gym or with some of his workout friends at theirs. Xander was a gentle and quiet young man. He thoroughly enjoyed a simple night snuggled up in his favorite robe at home, watching YouTube videos with family and snacking on his favorite cheese. He loved to spend time with all his family and cousins at family gatherings, sharing laughs over all the silly games that were played. Xander was unconditionally loved by all of his family and friends alike, and he will always be carried in their hearts. Besides his parents Bob and Jen, Xander is survived by his two siblings; older brother Robert J. “Robby” Mitchell and his fiancé Mindy, as well as his younger sister Rebecca “Becca” Mitchell. Xander also leaves to cherish his memory, his grandparents; Linda and Gale Fish, Mary Mitchell, Alan and Mary Jo Bernard, his aunts and uncles; Tanina and Dean McMorran Jr., Alan Mitchell, Jamie and Jim Baker, Keith and Stephanie Donovan, Lisa and Henry Jicha, along with a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
