Obituary of Josephine Z. Koritkoski

Josephine (Zaremba) Koritkoski, 98, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Henry B. Koritkoski who died in 1980. Daughter of the late Joseph & Anna (Kurek) Zaremba, she was a lifelong resident of Deep River and graduated from Deep River High School. After marrying Henry they raised two sons and were very active in all their sports. Josephine was a longtime member of the Polish Falcons Club, loved the dances at the Sobieski & Falcon Clubs and enjoyed her favorite band the Happy Travelers. She will also be remembered for never having an unkind word said about anyone. Josephine is survived by her sons Henry P. (wife Donna) Koritkoski of Middletown and Paul J. Koritkoski of Deep River, her sister Stella Bump, her brother Paul Zaremba, her five grandchildren, and her five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings; John, Mary, Helen, Anthony, Joseph, Victor and Dorothy, some of whom she cared for till their deaths. Visiting hours will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook on Wednesday, July 27th from 9 -10:30am. Funeral Mass at 11am at St Joseph Church in Chester.
