Dear Ken and Ray and Scott, I’ve just learned of your moms passing. I’m so sorry. Pat was one of the first people I felt comfortable with when I met the Wiley family. I remember that she gave me a warm hug and took me to the local nursery to buy fresh flowers and placed them in a vase and set them in the room where I’d be staying, in hers and Marty’s house. I’ll always remember her loud cackle (it complimented Marty’s!) and I’ll always remember her bold questions (she didn’t mince words!) and her personable and warmth displayed to a very awkward/quiet future step-daughter in law. I imagine she took on an older sister/mother role toward many others in her lifetime.
She is known as Grandma Pat to Hannah and Owen. She spoke with so much love for her boys! Thank you for sharing your mom with us. We pray that your coming days will be filled with warm memories of her.
