George. I’ve always kept these photos you sent me of Sean. I think they called him the “ Mayor of Dana Farber” . His wonderful smile and engaging personality touched everyone’s soul he ever met you told me. We’ve never met in person, only through our conversation’s about the Sox on FB. But we became friends and brothers for life quickly. Sean touched another soul he never met. My girlfriend Maureen, who was going through her Breast Cancer treatment’s at about the same time I saw these photos of Sean. I told her about Sean and what I had learned from you about his battle with this awful disease. It touched her deeply. She always wanted to know , How’s that young warrior doing, as we called him. She was the one who wanted to try and bring our Red Sox Bears into see him. Sadly she lost her battle 2 years ago this month. I can’t imagine the heartbreak you, Christine and your family are going through. Even as Sean was nearing the end of his Earthly Time. I saw that you acknowledged my post about my 3 sons a short time ago. I want you to know that simple like from you, with all you are going through made me realize how fortunate a man I am. Thank You and your family for the strength and courage you displayed to bring us along on Sean’s journey. I know Maureen will be one of the countless Angels watching over your special Angel Warrior Sean.
A day I will always treasure in my heart forever, meeting Matthew Slater and bringing you to Gillette Stadium! I’ll miss you my buddy, but like you said…. “I’ll see you again sometime!”
We can and will never forget you ☀️☀️
