Obituary of Louise Jessica Ross

Louise Jessica Ross, age 66, a resident of Guilford passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a brave four-year battle with cancer. She was the beloved mother of Jonathan Ross-Wiley of Greenwich. Louise had been a resident of Guilford for the past 11 years and was a former resident of Madison and New Haven. She had served as the Dean of Students for over 27 years at The Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven. Louise was a member of The Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek in Chester. Besides her son Jonathan and his wife Sahar she leaves her beloved grandchildren, Zia David and Soraya Elizabeth Ross-Wiley, her sister, Patricia Billone, of Weston and her brother, Laurence Ross, of Los Angeles, California. Louise will be always be remembered for her huge heart, open arms, and boundless love for her family, friends, colleagues, and former students. Temple services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 12:00 noon, at The Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek, 55 East Kings Highway in Chester. Burial will follow in the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River. Shiva will be observed at the Louise's residence on Sunday, March 22nd from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
