My condolences to the Farley family. I remember your Mom when you lived on the dead end street in Hempstead. She was always in the kitchen with her apron and baking something. She had a beautiful smile. Great to hear that she lived to for such a long life

As a child one common request from grandma was to go find some glass pieces that washed up on the beach at Tallwood so she could fill colorful jars for decorations. If we were lucky we would even get a reward for the Blue ones. Now as an adult I am thinking that having three male grandchildren underfoot might not have always been easy and those little jobs might have had ulterior motives? Whatever the reason grandma always made our successful treasure hunts feel special. I will miss you grandma but I am happy in the knowledge that you are at peace watching over us now with grandpa. ~ Love, Brian (Hillsboro, OR)

My husband and I met Mrs. Farley about 7 years ago when we visited Chester Village while looking for a place for my mother. Mrs. Farley graciously let us see her apartment (which was lovely) and we enjoyed our visit with her. She was one of the first people Mom met when she came to live there and she made Mom feel right at home. I would frequently see her in the hallways whenever I would come visit Mom. She was always very cheerful and cordial. It was such a delight to run into her. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed and will be remembered fondly.
