The news of Stanley's passing reached me very late. I am a 93 year old golfing pal of Stans. At my age it is sometimes hard to keep up with the news. I will miss my dear friend and his visits to share a scotch with me. We had so much in common-mostly semi-pro baseball, military service and our faith.
Our condolences to Carol and family.

Dad -there are so many memories of you and Mom that are always with me- and those memories that I have shared with Sal and our 3 wonderful daughters are so special. You have always been such a wonderful part of our lives, and always there to help us. Words cannot express the love that Me and Sal, our three daughters, Diana, Silvia, and Valerie, our son-in laws, Phil and Jay, and your great-grandchildren have in our hearts and lives for you. We will always have special cherished memories of you-God bless you and may you rest in peace. We will miss you so much.
Love, Cathy

That smile of Uncle Stosh's was one of those dependable memories from visiting Catherine St with Aunt Ann's family grapes, Huyshope Ave. holidays, my first NY Yankee game, and how he always treated me. When Uncle Stosh needed help at Puritans Furniture Dad kept me from school to help, Uncle must have greeted me as just his young nephew but I had worked with Dad before, knew my job, did what was needed before being asked. Uncle Stosh, I wish you where here to fill in that memory of when at lunch you told Dad I was a working man and you shared your beer with me, my first, bet it was a Schlitz.

So very sad for your loss. I have very fond memories of Stan and Ann from youthfull days in Westbrook when visiting my aunt just a few houses away. He was always a welcoming soul to everyone and always sharing of his time. A BEST ROLE MODEL.
