Dear Shirley and family,
My sincere condolences on the recent death of your beloved Roy. I was saddened to learn of his passing. He was always so kind and supportive to me as I was growing up in Chester and following my call to the priesthood. He was a wonderful example to me as a man of deep faith. He will be remembered at Mass and you will all be in my prayers as you mourn his loss. May he Rest In Peace!

As a kid I was amazed at Mr. Monte's tall stature, his jokes, and the way he adored Mrs. Monte. My heart felt condolences to the entire family and friends. ⚘

Roy was a very dear friend of mine for many many years. We work together in business for longer than I want to remember that I could always rely on him for being straightforward and honest putting others before him. What a lesson learned from one of the nicest people I've ever met. Rest in peace my friend. Don Holland

Melissa and all your family,
I'm in tears remembering your father and how kind and helpful he was. We were just kids, sleeping in a tent in the backyard or doing gymnastics in the big back room---but his presence was there, safe and sound. Thinking of you and sending you strength and love, I am so sorry for your loss

My memories of our “Uncle” Roy go back decades to childhood when my sister and i would look forward to summer nights, holiday visits, and picnics with the Montes. Wherever he, Aunt Shirley and the girls lived, the house was full of his laughter and singing. He was crazy about his daughters, and the only woman he loved more was his wife. He would dance Aunt Shirley around the kitchen or living room, no matter if she happened to cooking or cleaning or trying to talk on the phone. Some of my best memories are of time spent with the Montes, and I treasure these. Aunt Shirley, Michele, Meliss, Marlene and Maria, I know how much this hurts and Pray that your sorrow will be allayed by so many wonderful memories and eventually be replaced by this warmth. I know GOD will comfort you and Bless you as we have been Blessed to know and love your beloved husband and dad!

Dear Shirley, Michele, Melissa, Marlene, Maria and families,
I am so very sorry to read of Roy's passing. He was always such a kind, caring, compassionate soul.
Shirley, you and Roy have been such a significant part of my life for years. From picnics at Frank and Molly's to babysitting the girls and then to reconnect with you two through DRFD was such a delight. I am holding you all in my heart. Sending much love to all.
