Obituary of Jane Marvin Jones

Jane Marvin Jones, age 90, of the Winthrop section of Deep River passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Apple Rehabilitation in Old Saybrook. Jane was the beloved wife of Everett Jones of Winthrop. Jane was born in Rochester, New York the daughter of John and Iva ( Parmelee) Marvin. Jane had been a resident of Deep River since 1942 and was a member of the First Congregational Church of Deep River. She was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Jane prior to her retirement was a proof reader at The National Forman Institute in Waterford where she had been employed for 49 years. Besides her husband she leaves her nieces; Deborah M. Lord of Sudbury, MA, Nancy M. Stark of Old Lyme, Cynthia M. Richard of Westmoreland, NH., and Jennifer L. Marvin of Newington, her nephews, Jonathan Marvin of Bow, NH and Richard Marvin of Westbrook. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Reynold P. and Richard C. Marvin. The visitation and funeral service will be held at The First Congregational Church of Deep River, 1 Church Street in Deep River on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM and conclude at the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in the Cypress Cemetery in Westbrook.
