Obituary of Anne A. Mosca

Anne A. Mosca, age 98, of Old Saybrook, passed away on Friday evening, May 22, 2015 at the Gladeview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Old Saybrook. She was the beloved wife of the late Silvio P. Mosca who predeceased her on April 7, 1999. She was born July 1, 1916 in Yonkers, New York the daughter of Enrico and Maria (Palmieri) Patriarca. She leaves her son, Edmund H. Mosca and his wife Dolores, of Old Saybrook, her five grandchildren, Debra Pegnataro, of Old Lyme, Edmund H. Mosca, Jr., of Winthrop, Paul Mosca, of Canton, Patricia Dunn, of Ivoryton, and Dolores Britt, of Old Saybrook. She also leaves her eleven beloved great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Anne was the manager of The Loreli Dress Store in Bronxville, and White Plains, New York. Following her move to Connecticut in 1952 she and her husband built, owned and operated The Heritage Motor Inn in Old Saybrook until her retirement in 1984. Anne was a resident of Sheltered Cove Condominiums until she moved to her son's home in 2011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00AM at Saint John Church, 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook. Entombment will be privately held by her family in the Mausoleum of Saint Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anne's name to the Old Saybrook Historical Society, 350 Main Street, P.O. Box 4, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
